Learning and Education Blog

About

This is a learning and education blog that tackles subjects that are related to, but not exclusive of, learning, education, personal growth, spirituality, literature, arts, society, school, books, and living.

But whose experience?!

Martin Vanbee states, “Learn from the experience of others. You can’t live long enough to make them all yourself.” Relatedly, we often hear people say, “It is good to learn from your experience, but it is best to learn from the experience of others”. Besides, according to Vernon Law, “EXPERIENCE is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterwards.”

History had taught people varied lesson in life. Some were good and others bad. What is left us is to get the best out of the experience of others who had lived before us. History had been repeated such as the downfall of nations’ leaders. Such events could have been avoided if they had known or studied the past, to understand the present, and be able to prepare for the future.

Great leaders experiences should serve not only as guide to success, more so to create men who are capable of creating new things and not simply repeating what his predecessors have done. Experience of others will bring forth men and women who are creative, inventive, and discoverers.
