Then again, if you’re like my friend who owns a Slingbox, a cool gadget that enables you to “watch and control your favorite TV source” from just about anywhere via your laptop or mobile phone, you’re definitely going to be into TV (If not for the programs, definitely just for the bragging rights. Hehehe).

It’s that day of the month when all systems at the office seem to crash. The network is down and the databases are faulty. Fortunately, our boss decided to just give us the day off while the engineers are figuring things out.

My office buddies invited me to hang out in their apartment for a while. We grabbed some snacks in the convenience store and went on our way. Upon arriving in their house, we made ourselves comfortable in the sofa. Their new xbox 360 is already up and running and we played “rock band” the whole afternoon! I played the drums; the others took the microphone and guitars. It was so much fun because most of us are music enthusiasts. It was pretty cool if you ask me, especially if you are paid for the day.

Maybe it’s because most people experience difficulty in solving mathematical equations that we’ve actually developed some stereotypical minor phobia on algebraic or mathematical equations.

The only advice I can give you guys is to practice solving a lot until you get confident of being able to solve mathematical problems, this would help you reduce your fear of equations, and would actually help you improve your performance at school! Remember, the keyword is Practice.

Reading a lot of books can also help you with your vocabularies. If you want a certain new word to stay in your system, try using it at least three times a day ’til it gets stuck in your head.

There are a lot of techniques in memorizing a lot of things. One effective way I’ve used so far is to get the first letters and making a sort of abbreviation to them. Another effective way is to make a song about it and sing it all over in m head ’til I am able to memorize it.

If you guys have any other tips in memorizing things, feel free to comment here.
