I hate winter. I know some people love it because of the romantic ambiance and all but I just ain’t buying it. Winter kills my plants, messes up my driveway, makes my knees hurt and worst of all, triggers my skin asthma. Almost everything I hate in life comes during winter. Yesterday, I gave myself a favor by getting a set of heated clothing. It is like a normal sweat shirt but it is lined with heating coils powered by a small battery. This allows me to go out at night.

Okay okay. Sorry for the rants. I just can’t help it. But hey, I agree that there are good things that happen during winter. For one, it gives me a reason to re-decorate the house to brag my fireplace to my friends. Also, whenever the road is thick with snow, I do not need to go to the office to work. I just need to be online and deliver my work through email.

Winter does do me a favor after all. I was just so pissed off earlier because of my aching knees. Oh well.

Did you know what military challenge coins are for?

No, you don’t get them if you complete a challenge for a quest of some sort. The military issues them to members of certain organizations, and people use it to enhance their morale.

The challenge, according to wikipedia, begins with the challenger drawing his or her coin and placing the coin in the table or the bar. Everyone being challenged must immediately produce the coin for their organization and if anyone fails, they would have to buy everyone with a challenge coin drinks. If the person being challenged procures the coin, then the challenger has to buy the drinks.

In my opinion, all college kids should have challenge coins of their own. It would lead to awesome times that everyone should never forget (but probably would! Hahaha!).

I miss being in college already. Work has been so stressful for me lately.

Who’s willing to start a challenge coin tradition with me, then?! Say “AYE!” and comment!

The thing about me having PC Games is that I tend to get addicted to them too much. Take Ragnarok, for instance. I don’t think I have exactly been over that game yet, as I still play on private servers from time to time, quit, and come back again. Hahaha.

The game that I’ve spent more than half of my life would be Ragnarok, and The Sims would come to close second. There is just something about having the chance to pretend you’re someone else and do silly things with that e-self that amuses me so, not to mention the fact that I can create all of the houses that I want without spending anything in real life aside from the money I used to purchase the game.

But if you ask me, the best PC game for me would always be Diablo II. Hands down, and I wouldn’t even hesitate answering even before you finish the question. Haha!

What are your favourite PC games? Share it with us!

I was walking around a mall with my friends, Vern, Mary, Max and Ria, and we were out drinking coffee talking about random things. All of a sudden the topic changes to marriage and the setting shifts to one of those beautiful st lucia weddings.

IS THIS A SIGN? IS ONE OF US GETTING MARRIED SOON!?

I could just imagine Mary and Max getting married on Almond Morgan Bay. They mentioned they always wanted a beach wedding and I’ve never attended one! This is exciting!! I hope it really happens, and soon, at that! I currently have a beach body because my stomach isn’t that bloated yet! I don’t think I can keep up going to the gym regularly much longer knowing my attention span and all, haha!

It is Christmas once again. A lot of folks will be going to their provinces to visit their grandparents and relatives. Some of them doing some interstate tour with their RV’s. I do the road tripping with my friends too. Not to visit grandparents but to have fun on the road.
Our last road trip was not quite fun though. Our RV broke down in the middle of nowhere and we could not get any phones to work. Luckily, a truck hauled us to the nearest gas station so we were able to repair the RV there.

We were actually fortunate to experience just that. A couple of years ago, another group of friends had a road trip too and they had a terrible accident on the road. One of them died actually but it was not their fault. Fortunately, they availed of 5th wheel insurance, an insurance package great for RV travelers. But just the same, road tripping may be fun but at the same time risky too.

There has always been something about jeep cars that fascinate me so. When I was in college I kind of saw myself in the near future riding to work on a jeep. I started looking for jeep parts online and assembled the perfect custom jeep that I saw in those visions of myself in the future.

And well, I’m still halfway through my goal, if the prices have not inflated yet, and if I am lucky. Haha.

What kind of cars do you see yourselves driving in the future when you were still in college or high school? Did you ever achieve that vision of yourselves? Share your stories with us! Haha, I’m pretty sure it will help me be more driven towards my goal. I really want that jeep, but I have been really tired and unmotivated because of all the stress that my workload is giving me lately. Help me please! I’m sure your stories will cheer me up and inspire me!

I have been obsessing over the God of War game series for quite a while. I even saved up for a play station 3 for five whole months just so I can play the third game when I found out that it will be exclusive to that console.

My parents got worried that my sister would get addicted and start ignoring her studies just so she can play again. I made a deal that if she manages to get good grades I might consider lending her my ps3 slim for a month including all of the games I have. Trust me, they’re a handful, and a month wouldn’t be enough to finish those games.

Who knows? If she’s done exceptionally well maybe I’ll lend her the console for two months! We shall see what happens. I hope that’s good enough motivation. I mean, hey, if it were me I’d probably exclude myself from all my friends so I can focus on studying, but then again I don’t really have that many friends.. HAHAHAHA!

My sister has been complaining about not being able to play the drums for the longest time and it’s driving me insane. She’s so desperate she even considered asking for electronic drumsets– specifically the alesis dm6.

Since I will most probably be the one paying for her drumset as a graduation gift, I decided to check it out. I’ve heard it produces top notch percussion sounds, and apparently it has a USB port that allows you to send the notes you play as a MIDI signal. I haven’t really encountered many electronic drum sets in my life since I don’t exactly play the drums myself, but I’m sure that’s a feature my sister would truly enjoy. She’s been checking out drum module software since she started babbling about electronic drum sets as well.

I’m kind of excited to get her this for her graduation present. I sure hope she graduates on time, I actually want to hear her play again!

The perfect wedding ring is very hard to find. Yes there are many Jewelry stores out there, and many catalogs in the internet, but there will only be one wedding ring perfect for the couple.

I was out earlier with a couple of friends who were to be wed next June. As early as now, they are already looking for the perfect pair of wedding rings. Why am I with them? Well I guess I am an expert in jewelry, as far as my friends are concerned. I used to sell jewelry years before so I know so much about them. The “not to buys” and the “rare finds”. Also, I was worried that my friends might get an overpriced pair of rings so I volunteered to help them.

We went form store to store looking for the rings. My tip is, when looking for the perfect ring, never stare. Just scan the products. How will you know which one to buy? Believe me you will know. As a matter of fact, this worked for my friends. After all the searching, they finally found it. A very beautiful pair of platinum rings.

Platinum, just like Gold, is a rare metal. Very durable and the shine never wears out. Exactly like an ideal relationship.

My sister always had this DaKine bag that I’ve been eye-ing on for years. Since she left for New York I got full custody of the awesome bag. The problem is the fact that I had an xray a few days ago and realized that my scoliosis was getting worse. Even though the bag was so beautiful, I couldn’t use it since it’s a sling bag, and my therapist recommended me to get backpacks instead.

I started looking for dakine backpacks online but I still haven’t really decided which one I want. I’ve never been a big fan of back packs, and I guess that’s one of the things that got me into this big scoliosis mess.

I actually have to start wearing a back brace because my spinal column has started to rotate! So if you’re one of those people concerned about looking well, you should really start getting backpacks, they’re good for your posture.
