Yesterday I had a chance to meet up with a friend I met in facebook. We have been chatting for quite some time now (about three weeks) but we still havent met face to face. I do not usually do this kind of meet up but based on our conversations, she is a very nice person and very smart too.
We met in a coffee shop near my office but she also works nearby. I had no idea that she was that pretty because she looked very different from her pics in facebook. I had a lot of fun talking with her. The conversation was spontaneous and it felt like I already knew her for a long time. She too is a marketing consultant like me so we pretty much have lots in common.
As marketing agent, part of my job is to meet clients. I am still new to this stuff so I practice my conversation skills on new acquaintances like this one. She taught me some tips and tricks about marketing and i sure learned a lot. She even gave me a huge discount on the best under eye creams that she market. hehe.
From this experience I not only improved my conversation skills but also gained a new friend.
