I dreaded Monday. Monday is the start of the week and Monday also meant that I was drunk the night before. I looked like a corpse while having breakfast before my friend picks me up to head to the office. But then at the very last minute, I got a text from him saying his car broke down and it looks like he needs to buy new coilovers. My jaw dropped and it was 20 minutes before the meeting begins. Without sending any reply back. I ran to the bus stop.
When the bus came I squeezed my way into getting into a nice spot. I was able to get a seat but the man beside me seemed like he didn’t take a bath for 3 months. After a few minutes, the man standing in front of me farts. I was about to puke when the lady on my other side sneezes on me. When I got there, I was 30 minutes late. I was thinking of possible excuses to give to the head while walking towards the room.
My meeting apparently got canceled. Actually, now that I think about it, he did say that he’ll cancel the meeting today a month ago. Maybe next time I should pay more attention.
