A friend of mine hosted a house warming party at his new apartment and all his friends are included, me too of course. We were asked to come there in the most geeky outfit. The plan is to have a “Bing Bang Theory marathon” using his brand new 40 inch LG LED TV! As with all parties, I expected it to be fun, with a lot of booze and pretty people. However the party did not turn out as I expected.
I arrived at his house at 7 pm and the call time was 5. Good thing the others were late too so we started the party at eight. After introducing his friends, we went around the house to listen to all his bragging. hehe. We went to the garden, set up the TV, the sofa and the outdoor cushions. Then, the pizza arrived and we had dinner while watching the series. The dinner conversation was pretty fun and educational too.
Honestly I was waiting for the beer to arrive but it turned out that all his friends were non-drinkers. However, I could say that I enjoyed the party. I met lots of new friends and learned a lot of new things. I have never thought that a party can be as much fun even without the booze. Oh by the way, everyone forgot about the geeky dress code for the party.
