While I was walking home during my first year of work after graduation, I saw this girl wearing floating pearls around her neck. I was enthralled. The pearls made her appear tastefully classy but simple at the same time. I love the effect.
I was deeply fascinated with the image that I immediately went on hunt for pearl necklaces similar to hers. I soon found out that the layered floating pearl necklace does not exist in the market. Devastated, I still could not remove that image off me. So I approached a pearl store and asked if they could customize a pearl necklace. I described what I wanted and to my delight, they said yes! What’s more is that I was able to design it in a way more stylish than what I saw – at a very reasonable price. ^_^
That’s another clear example of my favorite quote from “The Alchemist”:
At a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what’s happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fates. That’s the world’s greatest lie. Whoever you are, or whatever it is that you do, when you really want something, all the universe conspires in helping you achieve it. (Melchizedek, the Old King)
