My sister has been complaining about not being able to play the drums for the longest time and it’s driving me insane. She’s so desperate she even considered asking for electronic drumsets– specifically the alesis dm6.
Since I will most probably be the one paying for her drumset as a graduation gift, I decided to check it out. I’ve heard it produces top notch percussion sounds, and apparently it has a USB port that allows you to send the notes you play as a MIDI signal. I haven’t really encountered many electronic drum sets in my life since I don’t exactly play the drums myself, but I’m sure that’s a feature my sister would truly enjoy. She’s been checking out drum module software since she started babbling about electronic drum sets as well.
I’m kind of excited to get her this for her graduation present. I sure hope she graduates on time, I actually want to hear her play again!

The perfect wedding ring is very hard to find. Yes there are many Jewelry stores out there, and many catalogs in the internet, but there will only be one wedding ring perfect for the couple.
I was out earlier with a couple of friends who were to be wed next June. As early as now, they are already looking for the perfect pair of wedding rings. Why am I with them? Well I guess I am an expert in jewelry, as far as my friends are concerned. I used to sell jewelry years before so I know so much about them. The “not to buys” and the “rare finds”. Also, I was worried that my friends might get an overpriced pair of rings so I volunteered to help them.
We went form store to store looking for the rings. My tip is, when looking for the perfect ring, never stare. Just scan the products. How will you know which one to buy? Believe me you will know. As a matter of fact, this worked for my friends. After all the searching, they finally found it. A very beautiful pair of platinum rings.
Platinum, just like Gold, is a rare metal. Very durable and the shine never wears out. Exactly like an ideal relationship.

My sister always had this DaKine bag that I’ve been eye-ing on for years. Since she left for New York I got full custody of the awesome bag. The problem is the fact that I had an xray a few days ago and realized that my scoliosis was getting worse. Even though the bag was so beautiful, I couldn’t use it since it’s a sling bag, and my therapist recommended me to get backpacks instead.
I started looking for dakine backpacks online but I still haven’t really decided which one I want. I’ve never been a big fan of back packs, and I guess that’s one of the things that got me into this big scoliosis mess.
I actually have to start wearing a back brace because my spinal column has started to rotate! So if you’re one of those people concerned about looking well, you should really start getting backpacks, they’re good for your posture.

You know, at one point in time, I wanted an empty room with a big ceiling, and just stash steel drums full of wine in there, arranged in a way that they’re all accessible with ladders and the like. It would be awesome. I’d make it like a bar, but with all classy wines and what not.
I don’t know, am I weird? I kind of got the idea from a dream, and I’ve always found steel drums to be quite useful and stylish.
I also had this idea for a staircase made of book shelves. So if I had to choose a book I could go up and down the stairs. I saw a photo while lurking around the internet once, and I kind of felt sad ’cause someone managed to do it before me, but I was also happy because that photo made me realize that it was actually possible to do it.
I’ve always wanted a treehouse, but we don’t actually have a decent tree to build one in our lot, which makes me kind of sad. We have a tiny space for a front yard though, so I guess I could make it work.
Do you have crazy room ideas that you want to share? Post it on the comments!

I got my brother an awesome birthday present. It’s a shirt that says “Ang panget gumagwapo kapag maganda ang auto”, which literally means “Ugly people become more appealing if they have awesome cars”. He was so delighted he asked me where he bought all of these funny tee shirts.
Some of the other shirts that I have say “Chickboy. Pwede chick, pwede boy”. It literally means “Chickboy. I do chicks, and I do boys”. Hahaha! There’s just something about funny tees that amuses me so, and an added bonus would be the fact that they never go out of trend! They go so well with almost all kinds of bottoms! (Sorry, am I being too girly again?)
What kind of funny shirts do you guys have? Take pics and share them with me and my readers! I’m sure most of us need a good laugh these days, everything is just so stressful.

My brother is currently asking me to get an Auto Refinance Review for his car since he thinks this can help him save up on his monthly car payments. I’m not entirely sure which companies can help lower his rates because I’m not really an expert in this department, so I’m afraid I’m going to have to ask you, my dear readers, yet again.
In other news, I think I want my own car, too. I’ll probably get an auto refinance loan as well. I don’t exactly have the same high paycheck as my brother, but I believe that I can buy my own car with it. I was thinking of getting a Mini Cooper, but I don’t think my paycheck would allow that yet, so I’ll get a Mazda instead. Heh.
What do you think? Do I look like a Mazda girl, or should I stick with a Corolla Altis?

Finally I found the perfect Christmas gift for my uncle: A box of a very fine yet cheap acid cigars. I was able to get these from a friend who is a distributor of these kinds of cigars. I had been looking for these cigars for quite some time now because this was what my uncle requested. He said if he was able to taste those cigars again he will die happy. Should I have known earlier that my friend is a cigar distributor I could have given this to my uncle on his birthday.
There is a funny thing behind this story. Actually my uncle just came from rehab. Yes he was a nicotine addict. He went to rehab because he smoked more than he breathed. So now he has recovered. He is smoke free yet he sucks on cigars still but in secret and I am the only one who knows it. One time my aunt caught him smoking and he slept in the driveway. He was never allowed to go in the house. It is like being grounded but outside the house. Hehe.
