Most of us office employees sit in the office for at least eight hours a day. As our chairs may be ergonomically designed, we still feel back aches at the end of the day. Sitting for long hours is not just good for the spine. One way to relieve back aches is by doing back bends. I learned this in yoga. The correct way of doing this is to stand straight, keep the butt tight, hands over the head, elbows locked straight then bend slowly.Another good way to relieve the aches is by doing pull ups. Just hanging on to pull up bars relieves the back of the upper body weight and stretches the spine to release any tight muscles. Or if you have the guts, you can also try hanging upside down using your legs (just be careful). These are just some of the ways on how I relieve my back aches. At the end of the day, correct posture and regular exercise are still the best ways to get rid of the back aches.
